Could the 90's be the best decade in music of all time? In the UK, it was the birth of the Brit-Pop revolution, bands like Blur and Oasis, before that, James and The Charlatans to name a few. It was the decade that saw even more of a U.S. influence on the UK chart scene, particularly in the area of hip-hop, and the decade that saw in the early 90's, the UK dance scene exploding around the world.
So as of February 2026, NRGFM radio is still going through it's testing phase, where new format ideas are being continually adjusted and implemented. We are also using this time to help us realize our audience and listening patterns. The playlist is diverse and consists of recorded programmes, recorded live, and of course aired live on this website. Music comes from CD, and goes through warm valve analog processing - as well as 24-bit 96 khZ dynamic processing.
